Our grinder comes with a flat platen and a Serrated Wheel. These are features you will pay extra for with other grinders. Yep that's right, ours comes with both, and you can easily switch between the two by rotating the swing attachment arm. You don't have to remove any parts and store them. Gotta tell you this outshines all the others I have seen or tested. My fellow knifemakers are amazed.

Three of them bought each a different grinder. Two of them had to then chase down drive motors which led them to Harbor Freight. The other one bought a grinder with a higher price tag. He couldn't believe how well the belt tracking, wheel storage, and slack belt grinding was quickly available.
He had to buy a separate cart to house his accessories. Needlessness to say I am very happy with my AMK-77 and wouldn't trade it for any other grinder. Excellent engineering shows through the fog.
